"More than a band, we're a clan." – MAKAM. MAKAM from Solo Middle Island, Indonesia is a black metal band that firmly believes in the inner metal power of all races. With the inner confidence to produce great metal, and a dark charismatic, almost ritual like, live performance. MAKAM spread their chaotic vision through ritualistic concerts creating a frenzy of devoted followers which the band calls, “the raider klan”. Spiritually engulfed lyrics sung to a classic black metal music background only exalt the band’s profound connection to nature and the spiritual. Listen to a phenomenal band and explore the Metal Archipelago, Indonesia. Duration: 41 minutes

Red Queen Theory is a progressive goth metal band from Seattle, US. We feature an interview with founders of the band Elizabeth (lead vocals) and Dean (bass). In this special interview, lead singer Elizabeth will take you on a surreal journey into the realm of dreams and fantasy as she narrates how each song was based on her personal dream experiences. -The Trilogy-
-A New Day-
A New Day was one of the first songs written by the original duo, Elizabeth and Dean. This song laid the foundation of what was to be Red Queen Theory. -Saga-
Lead singer Elizabeth describes another of her dreams in which while on vacation with friends, demons invade Earth, and they are forced to run and hide. Escaping in a space ship, they leave Earth after not being able to defend themselves from the demons. While wondering in space, Elizabeth starts to dream again. Feeling lonely, she remembers dreaming about a boy who she met on Earth. She went looking for him. After finding him in the form of cat, she cries and decides to live with the cat despite him not remembering her. In the last stages of the dream, Elizabeth finds herself staring outside the spaceship window looking down on Earth. Feeling lonely and not sure of the future, she hears someone calling her. It was the cat. It had regained its memory of her. After that she didn't feel lonely anymore. The dream finally ends with Elizabeth having an epiphany. In which she realizes that it's fine to wonder forever in space, as long as you can find someone to wonder with. -By The Sea-

Female Thrash Metal band from Brazil.“Women can play heavy, too!” -Julia Pombo/Guitars. In this episode we feature SCATHA, chick metal band from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. SCATHA arises as one of the few authentic chick rock bands in Brazil. The band portrays an aggressive thrash metal approach that sounds like early Megadeth albums with a Pantera's “Cowboys From Hell” approach. Intense and heavy vocalization like few female singers can achieve in the metal scene complements the heavy thrash riffs and head banging drum beats. http://myspace.com/scathaband Violent Work Of Art - Featured Artist
